vs. Plainfield North

So to start it out, on monday the 28th, i hurt my ankle. i was in the weight room working out. i stepped down off the bench and my ankle rolled because there was a bar under it and i didnt see it and i have weak ankles so i rolled it all the way and heard something snap or pop and felt it. i didnt cry but it was VERY painful!!! So i went to the doctors and at first they thought it was a fracture...... but thank God it was NOT!!! so on monday and tuesday i had to wear the boot and wear crutches!!! it sucked! But i just got back from the doctors and they said im good to go!! it still hurts just a lil bit but i can tough it out!!!

As far as tuesdays game goes...... we lose 4-1. we were down the whole game. everyone looked down and everyone was just watching the ball. it was a slow game and it sucked just sitting there watching. so i cant wait to get back in there!!! oh and we should of NEVER lost to plainfield north! they were not good we just werent on our A game! But im coming back!!!

vs. JCA
okay so you all know that i LOVEEEE storms and i am absolutly obsessed with them. Well today we played JCA. (Joliet Catholic Academy). They beat us last year 5-0. so this yea we had to bring our best game!

The wind today was HORRIBLE. like we would kick the ball and it would fly back to us!! so we had to go against the wind the first half. we only let them score 2 goals on us which is pretty good so in the beginning of the second half we are going with the wind and need to score 3 goals to win. we score! sam a freshmen scored from the 18. it was AWESOME. so now we are 2-1. there is 10 min. left of the game and we all are pumped and we know we can score 2 goals in 10 min. then all of a sudden we hear the refs blowing their whistles!!!



EVERYONE GET OFF THE FIELD!!! WE SAW LIGHTNING AND THERES A HUGE STORM COMING!!!



Thats what we heard and we were all pissed! so we all have to get off the field and go inside the school. we wait about 15 min. and then our athletic directer calls the game off. so with only 10 min. left we didnt even get a chance to go with the wind and score 2 more goals. so since we had to stop the game and the storm was going to be around for a while we didnt get to win. so we loss 2-1 because a storm came in and cancelled the last 10 min. of it.



THATS THE ONLY TIME I DONT LIKE IT WHEN IT STORMS. WHEN I HAVE A SOCCER GAME. i mean i like to play soccer in the rain, and heck i would even love to play it in a storm, but when the refs see lightning......... it all goes down hill from there!

vs. Plainfield South

We played plainfield south. we won 3-1 so we are now 4-1 in conference. its great!!! Indiana Tech coach was there watching me and he said that basically he liked what he saw and its up to me now... so that was good. So overall it was a pretty good game!! i almost scored with 2 minutes left but the goalie saved it!! So heres a clip of us after our game. we always do a warm up jog on the field. and clap for our fans!

The game SUCKED!!! we won though 7-0 against romeoville ...... but i played THE WORST GAME OF MY LIFE!!!!!! and i mean it !! the worst game of my life. and to top it all off coach is prolly mad at me and i am just sooo sick of myself playing like such an idiot with my freakin head stuck up my butt!!! im pissed off right now. so yay we won but i swear i will NEVER EVER FREAKIN play like that again or im going to die!!! oh and it doesn't help that i have freakin ACT's tomorrow. and those tests determine your freakin future! so im really really really livid right now!! UGH!

So today we lost. after coming from that win vs. oswego we were feeling pretty good. we started out by scoring. Corie scored with an amazing assist by schieff! then they scored then we scored then they scored. so with 6 minutes left.... they scored to make it 2-3. so we had 6 min. to score. i played the ball up top and they just couldnt connect up there. it was a rough and very physical game, alot of calls by the refs, and even a yellow card but overall it was a pretty good game. It definetly got the coaches and fans all fired up! so we are now 3-3 overall.

After the game we had a cook out for the JV and Varsity teams with all our family and friends. my friend morgan came to watch me play(she played last year with us) and we talked about college and stuff like that. then i went home, cleaned my room, and went to bed around 2 and woke up just in time for church! after church me, amy, vanessa, and barb(vanessas mom) all went to portillios! then me and amy went to her house and talked for about a good 2 hour solid convo. On my way to go home my truck wouldnt start so i dont know whats up with that but...... i will have my dad look at it. after about 7 trys it finally started so yea. oh and right now it is 4/20, so its officially pot day....lol. oh what a joy.... NOT!! DONT SMOKE POTTT!!!

We beat Oswego! it was a great fight between the two schools. I had alot of friends on that team so i kinda felt bad we beat them.... but then again we have never beat them for like in 7 years for our school so i was happy and proud we finally beat them! Tori and allie scored the 2 goals and they scored one like with 7 minutes to go so it was a lil scary there at the end but we ended up with a win!! now we are 2-1 in conference and 3-2 overall. im sooo excited for the rest of the season!

Today was a piece of cake! we played against the coal city coalers. they basically werent the best to put it in nice terms. we won 8-0. i didnt score but i had a couple shots on goal and a couple assists on goal. Overall it was kinda boring and slow but we pulled out a "W" so its all good. So we are now 2-2.

So it was raining (whats new) and it was insane! we lost 2-0. it was a hard fought game though. We finally started picking it up in the second half. I played the stopper position again and i felt like i got every ball that came my way! i didnt let it get past me! So it was a hard game against Glenbard South, but a very competitive game! so its okay... they werent conference anyways. But im not losing again! i will do whatever i can do never to loose again! So we are now 1-2 :(

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On April 10, 2008, Douglas Alvin Rings turned 43 years old. Its crazzzy! So for his birthday mom, dad, billy, and myself all went to the lucky buffalo to eat, came home and warched survivor, sang happy birthday, and ate cupcakes and ice cream. It was a great day for my dad and i cant believe he is 43!

So todays game was rainy, wet, and insane! The first half i think the ball was down our throats about the whole time. we had so many marks and people running around. they scored 2 goals in the first half, both were lame goals that we made mistakes and let them score. there goals werent anything good. But with one minute left in the first half we had a free kick about a little around half way through one half of the field. I was on the other side of the field by the goal. The ball came to me in the air i headed it to covey and then she headed it back to me. When i saw that ball flyin through the air i was like oh yea im going to head this thing to the back of the net. then with all my might i flew up in the air and pulled my head back and slammed it with my forehead. It went over the goalies hands and just rolled back in the net!! it was AAAMAZING!!!
I have never ever scored off of a header before and it was a great feeling.!!

The second half we all played with our hearts and were slammin in all over the mudd, giving our all but we ended up losing 3-1. sam a freshman scored on a corner kcik but the refs for some reason didnt count it. it was sooo disapointting. overall it was a sucky game but as a team we learned alot and we are never going to lose again!!! MARK MY WORDS!!! ITS ON!!!!!SO FREAKING BRING IT!!!!!!

Meander 2008

This is my spring gettaway with the girls on Meander 2008! April 4-6

We set off in some rented out CRAC vans! It was Great fun!

Then we got to our location in indiana. it was 3 little house's and it was very comfy. Then the next day we went on a little version of oprahs big give, but through a tiny town in indiana. So heres my interview before the task.

During the big give my group gave 5 dollars to a guy who was suffering from a brain tumor, around 10 dollars by paying and washing peoples car , and we bought a bag of dog food for this house that had a dog outside. After that me and Brianna were kinda bored so heres what happened!

After that we made our way back to the houses and me, katie m., and amy went on a row boat in the lake!

It was great!! Then next was the ride home.... : ( over the weekend though we learned how to be a women of wisdom for Christ. it was called our WOW week. it was an excellent weekend of learning and building up long lasting friendships!

What a weekend!!!!

So today we played our first game. we are really behind in games because of all the bad weather we have had lately. We were against Morris a rival school and it was at thier house. On tuesday though i had a bad collision with one of the girls at practice so i know have a deep bad bruise on my muscle. On wednesday i could barely walk, let alone jog or sprint, so i was iffy on if i was going to be able to physically play today. It turned out that this moring i got up and it felt 100 times better then it did yesterday!! it was a great feeling! so anyways today i started and played the whole game at the stopper position! for people who dont know soccer it is the middle defender but who goes up a little bit towards the center mids too. Well its an important position and it was a great game. I had like 3 shots on goal..... 2 were like bad and then one of them hit the top of the goal post!! i was like UGHHHH dang it almost went in! So we ended up winning 3-1. The goal they scored was luck cause our goalie forgot to go out and get the ball but it was a flick. Our goals were scored by Schieffer and sam(freshmen!). Overall it was a great way to start off our season!
