okay so back in February i bought all the harry potter books and planned to read them all before the last movie comes out on july 15.

i have read book one and two. and am currently on page 87 of book 3.

so needless to say i have a ton of reading to do within 10 days.

Life

Wow. Well its been 363 days, pretty much a year since i last wrote on this thing. and a lot has changed. a LOT.

1. We moved to texas. Drove down here on July 1, 2010 and never looked back.

2. Finished my sophomore year of college at Grayson County College.

3. Got my first job at Academy Sports and Outdoors as an Apparel Sales Associate.

4. Added another cat to the family, Snooki, who was found as a kitten in the ditch.

5. Billy played football, basketball, and baseball for the first time.

6. Live out in the country in the middle of nowhere. Literally. Our road is called Chickenfield...

7. Got back into my Texas Rangers who went to the World Series last november, but lost.

8. No longer a teenager, turned 20.

9. Nancy (Mom) lost like 50 pounds and exercises daily.

10. Discovered where I would finish my college education and what to major in.

hey blogger,

its been a couple months now since i have blogged so lets see whats new...

1. i finished up my first year of college with a 4.0 first semester at NWOSU and a 3.9 my second semester at JJC.

2. i had a birthday and turned 19!

3. We sold our house on Brian Ct. after living there for almost 8 years.

4. We are renting a duplex across the road with only 2 bedrooms. its very cramped and lets just say me and my mom are roommates...ugh!

5. My dad now works at Dallas Love Field and he is a manager of stores.

6. We are about to close on a house in Whitewright, Texas and we are all excited about the changes that are coming.

7. Its summer vacation and im currently vacationing with my cousin in Texas. yeehaw!

R.I.P Muffy and ChiChi

Well yesterday on Feb. 15. 2010..... we had to put muffy and chichi to sleep. It was the hardest thing i have ever seen. it was probably my worst day ever. its up there when i hurt my knee.... chichi went first and then muffy.

I had them since i was in kindergarden and its just so weird to not have them in my life anymore. kinda of life soccer. My dogs and soccer have always been there for me and now both are gone. its kinda rough these days.

Muffy and ChiChi were the best dogs ever, and i will miss them soo much. Lets just say i have never cried harder in my life then when i did last night. Rough, rough thing to go through..

Good bye Muffy and ChiChi....you were my girls!

i cried to be able to even get you guys...and now im crying that you guys are gone. it was a fun 13 years! love you!

Third Knee Surgery

Yesterday, December 15, 2009 at 2:30 i had my surgery.

Dr. could save my meniscus and now its just needs to heal.

My acl is tight and sturdy.

i am on viccodin right now and my nerve block on my leg is slowly coming out of it.

i start therapy after the holidays so in about 2 weeks.

and dr. wants an aggrasive rehab just like my last knee rehab so that i can do whatever i need to do in my life.

so yea im gonna go rest. bye. pics to come!

Changes

there is some changes in my life right now.

1. im leaving nwosu on friday morning at 8:00 and not coming back.
2. im transfering to joliet junior college.
3. i still have no clue of what i want to do with my life.
4. in a week from today i will be going under again and having my third knee surgery.
5. i made really good friendships here and now im leaving them forever.
6. my house is for sale and we are moving back to texas soon.
7. my dad will be working in dallas from here on out, so he wont be home much.
8. i have to find a place to live when my house sells, which swa buys it in march if no one else buys it.
9. i have to pack and move again.
10. i have no plans... im just kinda living life day by day.

Well people...

i freaking hurt my knee again.

i dont know exactly what it is yet....... but here is a few clues..

1. trainers say acl is torn and something is wrong with meniscus
2. Doctor felt my knee, did the ACL test and said he couldnt feel the acl in there.....
3. i heard a popping sound when i went down
4. it hurts much worse then last time.....

Wow..... and it happened only a year and 6 days after my surgery....

4th of July

So today was the 4th of july. i love the 4th of july. One. there is fireworks. Two. there is alot of family together. Three. there is great food. and Four. well around here there is 4 wheelin. So we woke up in oklahoma at my grandmas, said our good-byes, and then got some sonic for breakfast. oh how i love sonic. Then we got to my papas house again and we just hung with family, rode some 4 wheelers, did some fireworks, ate some awesome food, and just sat around and talked with each other. It was a great 4th of July and it was a fun day.

Oh and Eric almost got hit by not one but two fireworks that went crazy. Fun times!

Friday

Friday morning i woke up and my grandma donna tells me that i have to go to oklahoma today for my other grandmas birthday party. So me and eric go 4 wheelin a little bit then get ready and packed and me, eric, and joey all leave to McAlester, Oklahoma. It only about a 2 hour ride so it wasnt bad. When we got there we got to say Surprise to my grandma cause she didnt know we were coming. Then we went to walmart and just hung around, watched tv, and played with suzy the little poodle until dinner. We took my grandma out to Petes Place in Krebs, OK. It is one of my top 5 restraunts and overall my favorite italian one! So it was so great and we celebrated my Grandmas 61 birthday, joeys new job, my scholarship, eric going into his sophomore year, billy going into the 4th grade, my moms spy kidz experience, and how good my dads job is right now. It was a great dinner and all of us were completely STUFFED. After we ate we all came home and had some awesome strawberry cake. I actually didnt care to much for the cake but i LOVED the chocolate covered starwberries that came with it. Overall it was just a great day in oklahoma.

Wednesday

I got to sleep in today. I woke up and just hung out and watched tv until my papa and my grandma donna came and picked me and eric up at his house at 1:00. After they picked us up we went to lunch at Chick fa la. it was so good. Then we went to sams club and stayed there for about 20 hours. it was hot and lame. After that we got home we watched dan in real life and then Austrailia. It was an excellent movie even though it was long. it was still a great movie. Then we just went to sleep. well eric went to sleep fast but i couldnt fall asleep. The bed was so uncomfortable and it was sooo bad. Overall i didnt get much sleep my first night. But i eventually went to sleep.

Thursday

I got up around 9:15, ate some oatmeal and texas cinnimon roll and then went 4 wheelin with eric. It was still hot even though it was in the morning. After that we just hung around the house all day tryin to stay cool. We had some pizza and watched Raising Helen. After that we went to the old time movies in downtown WhiteWright. We saw Taking of Pelhom 1 2 3. It was pretty good just alot of bad words every other word. Then we went on the computer and just chilled until it was late and time for bed. Also today Joey came home from his first trip on the job. He loved it and i loved seeing him happy. it was awesome!

Hurricane Harbor

So yesterday eric, phil, and I went to hurricane harbor in Arlington, Texas. I had not been to hurricane harbor in texas since i lived here 7 years ago. I have a bunch of memories there and now i finally got to go back. Me and eric went on almost every ride. We went on some double tube rides, some body slides, and some single tube rides. Then we had lunch in the car because they have a new ride saying no coolers anymore.... : (. so after lunch all of us headed over to the TORNADO. now i love that name so i knew i would love that ride. actually though i thought it was going to be lame.... so it was a 4 seater tube but you could use 3. we went down and i was wrong about it being lame. it was AWESOME. it was so fun and cool. so then after that we rode the famous BLACK HOLE! I used to go on this all the time with my family. it was always my favorite and after riding it again since so long it still remained my favorite. The black hole is just so good. the best water slide ever!!!! Most of the day though we would all just float down the big lazy river. We would also be getting smashed by huge waves in the wave pool. i loved the wave pool. the waves would just knock everyone over. Overall it was just an awesome day and when we got home we had nuggets and mac and cheese. great day.Thats the Black Hole

Saturday
My plane left chicago at 6:05. I got to kansas City at 7:45 and left for dallas love field at 8. I got in texas around 9:20 and then eric and my aunt lisa came and picked me up. it was erics 15th birthday so it was a cool surprise. We came home and just hung out all night until it was like 2 and then we finally went to bed.
Sunday
So we got up and went to church. Eric attends crossroads bible church. it was alot like minooka bible and it was really cool. Then we came home and went to sams club and walmart to get some food for the next couple of days. Then i had a surprise call from lizzy saying she had LICE!!! Now i was with lizzy all last week and we even slept next to each other so i was freaking out. i was pretty sure i had lice too. so i got a lice cleaning kit and me and eric washed and combed our hair with it just in case. I got some white stuff but im pretty sure it wasnt eggs. i think im clean. then we went swimming and hung out with erics other cousin an aunt. next we had a great dinner including some sphgetti, salad, texas toast, and chocolate pudding pie. then me and eric watched alot of those ghost shows on tv and it was soo scary and just AWESOME! Then me and eric watched I AM LEGEND. it was awesome. After that we went to bed.
Monday
So we slept in until 11:30ish. it was great sleep. Then we had some cinnimon sugar donuts and got ready for the movies. We went and saw transformers 2. I thought it was pretty good. Next we came home and eric had a trombone lesson so i just was on the computer and watched tv. Then me and eric made tacos for dinner and a reeses bar bake thing. After that we went swimming, then i took a shower, and finally we went and bought our hurricane harbor tickets for tomorrow.
Overall it has been a really gret trip so far. im glad i came.

Last Weekend of High school

so last weekend was my last weekend of high school. It was a perfect weekend. On friday i had a game. we played east aurora. we won 5-0. i scored! it was my first goal i have scored since coming out of my knee rehab. then we had a team dinner. it was so much fun. there was food and karaoke. NICE. then saturday morning i went and worked out julie and lizzy. it wasnt going good so we decided to walk at the park and go to dunkin donuts. then i came home and hung out with my dad all afternoon! it was great. He even taught me how to do the lawn mower. so i mowed the lawn for the first time ever on my last weekend of school!! i even got my shoes green! YES! then i went to church and it was wonderful. I then went to steak and shake with Jan, Taylor, Eric, and Danny. then we hung out here. I woke up sunday and went to grozone. it was fun. then i came home and helped clean the house for mothers day. We then went to portillios and it was great! then we watched celebrity apprentice and watched joan rivers win! it was AWESOME!!!!!

okay not so good. minooka girls soccer has never ever beat central in the history of starting girls soccer. and we didnt again. it sucks because i couldnt play in this game and it is the biggest game of our season. we lost big time. the first half was just brutal. but at halftime i told the girls that they have to fight and they have to have heart. and then of course all the skills stuff should come along with it. the second half they came out hard. they played with heart and you could tell they were having fun out there. its so hard to not play in games with them but im holding on until 2 weeks. half time the score was 4-1. then they scored 2 more in second half so not that bad. wilke our goalie is amazing and ended up having like 27 saves! CRAZZY! so yea i just wanna get back out there so bad. but yeap there goes another game against central.

Bolingbrook 2-2

so it was the first game of our season. i cant play still. but i will soon. anyways at the start of our warm up it just started POURING down rain. it was crazzzzy!!! so i was drentched the whole rest of the game just sitting there frozen. our girls looked okay out there but it just didnt seem to flow.... bolingbrook was not that good of a team i think we could of beat them. but that game we just were doing not good at all and hopefully we will do better next game. we ended up 2-2.

Spring Break was fun. i had soccer and physical therapy most of the time. but i also hung out with all my friends and had alot of fun. alot of sleep overs, games, talking, eating out alot like babas, hot tubs, tv shows, bike rides, and more. good times. i saw lizzy every day of spring break. : )

soccer update

so soccer has been going really good. we have been running a limestone, which is a mile and .10 path around the school, we have been playing little pick up games, which i cant because i still have limitations.

They only things i can do is run, pass within 5 yards, do some ball skill, and do some drills with the team. but as far as playing, sprinting, cutting, and pivoting of the knee i cant do.

I go to the doctor on wednesday to get the knee checked out by dr. drwosky. he will fit me with a knee brace and then hopefully release me to actually start playing and cutting and sprinting.

Today at practice i ran alot and the result was a very very sore knee. i went to therapy tonight and told tina and she said no more running for a couple of days so that this swelling can go down. it swelling up a little bit on the top of the knee because of all the sudden running. So yea i have to cool it down i guess. its so hard. i love soccer.

i love soccer so much but i have a feeling that its going to be a mental thing and im going to have to get over it. so yea. well see on wednesday!

Joey is just keeping busy by working at walmart. still wondering what he wants to do with his life.

So my mom is on a new diet. she eats like all healthy stuff and shes doing pretty good at it so far. shes doing it with some of her friends. so thats what her meals have been looking like recently.

Billy is in 3rd grade. he is in LOVE with our new cat but still loves muffy and chichi. hes just silly and crazy all the time.

And my dad well he is just watching in his sports and workin at southwest. good times good times.

Oh and as a family we watch survivor still on thursday nights and now starting last sunday celebrity apprentice. we love our shows!

so yea all is good at the rings house!

Soccer is back in season!

so on monday we had our first try outs for my high school soccer team. they were awesome. it was just cool to see who exactly was trying out and who was good and what not. so the first 3 days we were inside. so it was kinda lame but then thursday and friday we got to go outside. so thursday we found out the teams. its awesome because there is 18 of us on varsity. 4 seniors, 7 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 4 new freshmen. it looks like a good team and im excited. we dont have our first game until march 31st, so there is a good chance that i could actually play in our first game.

Physical therapy is getting tougher and tougher but it has to so i can graduate from it. right now all they are letting me do at pracitce is running, passing only 5 yards, doing some aliglity stuff, and some drills with the ball. it kinda sucks because i have to do all the hard stuff and they when the team gets to scrimmage or play little games i cant. i cant cut, pivot, sprint, kick it farther then 5 yards, or play. but im getting there.

I am officially a captain of the team as voted by my team members.

all in all good times. oh and i actually completed a mile with my team on thursday. i ran it in 10:35...... i know i know thats like the worst time i have ever even heard of, but you gotta remember i just had surgery a month ago and i am 6 months out of shape! but i did it and thats all that matters!!

this is GREAT news!!!!

ok so i know jason like screwed up and picked the wrong girl but at least he went with his heart and didnt live with any regrets. so he is now happily with molly and thats all great and i feel bad for melissa but she will find love some day. but the best part of this whole tv show is everyone getting to know jillian and now she is going to be the next bachelorette coming on may 18th!!! the day after i graduate!!! woot woot. so everybody watch as we see our favorite girl fall in love!!!

Overall senior banquet was way more fun then i expected. First we got to the school and had to sign in. there was 7 buses and i was on bus number 4. it was by alphabetically by your first name. so i sat with kelsey mcguire... who i have not talked to since 8th grade. it was really awesome to reconnect with her and i wish we would of been friends all of our high school years but its to late for that but now we are friends again. good stuff. then we got to navy peir, walked to the boat in the freezing cold, got on the boat, ate alot of food, set sail, everyone was gettting kinda of dizzy because the boat was swaying so very slightly, we danced danced danced, i went on the roof of the boat with kelsey and looked at the skyline of chicago at night ( AMAZING VIEW), then we danced some more and danced and danced, it was soooo hot, then we did senior awards, then we hit the dock and landed, then we all said thanks and went home. it was a great senior banquet and i will always remember it!

so overall winter camp at expeditions was really really fun. it was kind of scary though because one of my friends had a seizure right next to me at like 5 in the morning. but its all good, shes all better and im still a little scared from thatthough but i will work through it. uhh Jason had some really great sessions and it was just an awesome last winter camp. heres a few pics. oh and i got to see my favorite baraboo people!!!

so today in cardio kickboxing we were just working out in the wrestling room. then i decided to try and run......

and i did!!!

i jogged, ran, and tried to sprint. it was amazing to feel the power of running after 5 months!!! it was WONDERFUL!!!!!!

so i can RUN!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!

so update on my knee.

tina literally is kicking my butt in therapy. my butt muscles and quads hurt sooooooo bad. i am now able to skip and kind of run. i can do lunges and all that fun stuff. therapy is getting harder and harder but im getting better results out of it.

the official soccer season starts on march 2, so im very pumped up for that. i cant really participate but i will definetly suppport my team until i return.

tomorrow i go back to dworsky for my second check up after my surgery. i get my awful nasty stitch string thing out. i have been playing with it for a while now and im ready to have it taken out! then after he takes it out he can clear me to have me start running and cutting and doing more harder stuff. an exciting day!!

so theres that stupid string thing.

update on surgery

yeap there i am again

1. surgery was about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

2. i recovered soooo much better then last time. i just woke

right up and had no pain or problems.

3. The doc said that there was barely ANY scar tissue

(grrr other doctor) and it was basically a pertruding

bone. so he smoothed it down like all the way.

4. i have only needed one dose of vicadin so far.

5. im having like no pain.

6. doc did have to cut about an inch and half cut so he could

smooth it down all the way.

7. im going to go see him on friday to take the bandages off and

see how it is doing.

8. im going to physical therapy on friday also to get it started working

again.

9. i can already kind of walk on it and put full preasure on it.

10. overall it was a excellent surgery and i think it will have

excellent results!!!

Little Sister Rings

So it was a freezing cold day and my dad heard a little meow at the southwest airlines midway hanger door. He opened it and saw a cute little black kitten and fell in love instantly. He came home that day and told us all about her. We were thinking huh thats weird my dad likes a cat. he was even hinting that we should be her new family. so on friday he brought her home and me, mom ,and billy were away at camp. so we got home on sunday and saw her for the first time. We love love love her. we didnt know what to call her. we called her stoops, monkey, oreo, and whiskers but none of those really fit. and then tonight me and my mom just called her little sister and it was good. So now she is just climbing on EVERYTHING!! and she takes naps on top of the china cabinet. she is getting used to muffy and chichi but its still a little nerve wracking. she pounces and jumps on them. muffy doesnt really seem to notice her(shes becoming blind) and chichi well she is to fond of the kitten. she likes to growl and show her teeth at her. but they are gettting used to each other and it will all work out.

Little sister likes to eat, drink water out of our cups, pounce and attack us when we run or move our hands, likes to play with her tale(thats has a white little tip on it), she likes to climb on high places and try to get highest to the ceiling, and she likes to try and get the curser on the computer and likes to just sit there and get in your way of the computer. she is sooo much fun. oh and she likes to sleep with me in my bed. i went to sleep last night with her purring in my ear. literally. and i woke up with her belly on my face. i couldnt breath. but it was cute. so i held my breath. : )

Overall she is fitting in great and i cant believe im saying this but i actually like this cat. im not a cat person and i thought i hated cats because they never liked me. but i think that im gonna like this one.

okay so i finally know whats going on with my knee. well basically when dr. put the screw in to hold the acl together it accidently somehow pushed the bone up. and that caused alot of fluid and alot of scar tissue. so basically my new dr. is going to have to go in surgerically and basically sand/scrap it down to be smooth bone.

Surgery is on Feburary 3, 2009.

okay so today i went and had my second opinion. I went to see dr. dwrosky. and basically he thinks that this scar tissue or whatever it is, is dramatic. now i am waiting for a call back from him because he is checking with the hospital to check and see what procedure was exaclty done. So then from there i will have a MRI and it could clear it up. he was saying that it was very rare to see scar tissue of anything of that matter in or around the area which my bump is. so overalll we just have to sit and wait some more and see where this all goes. but he is very intrested in the investigation of what is causing my pain. so we will have to wait and see.

So i had a snow day today. well actually it was a cold day but you get the point. basically it was like -15 degrees all day so there was no school. so in stead of school today i hung out with the colemans which was awesome and had therapy. I then had dinner with amy, went to the mall with amy, and had a very long but good talk with amy. we hadnt talked in awhile about life so we did. it was great. so that was my snow day. but tomorrow we have yet ANOTHER snow day!!! BOO YAH!! HOLLER!!!! i love life. so yea even though it like death outside..... its still a day of high school that i will never ever have to make up cause im a SENIOR!!

So our truck broke down in Eureka Missouri... so

we got stuck in a hotel for the night.

not to alarm anyone but...

tonight at physical theropy my wonderful therapist, Tina, was checking out my sore spot(the draining hole from surgery.....) and she is pretty sure it is a muscle infection.

It has been swollen since the surgery and the swelling has never gone down..
It pops everytime it bends or straightens
it had some colored discharge from it
it kills soo bad and randomly when im walking it makes my whole knee feel like its going to give
it hurts in like one little area, where we think the infection is.....

Who knows. im getting it checked out hopefully soon, so i will let you all know.

Here is my knee. all the scabs are gone. it is straight up a scar. doc says no more crutches. no infection. tina(therapist) says great bending ability. BAD full extension ability. so now working hard to get it straight. overall its okay. progress is in motion.

GOAL: extend it at 0 degrees by thanksgiving. fully straight.

I was THE John McCain. it was GREAT!

All the people wanted to shake my hand!

Eric(Boyscout), Savanna(cheerleader), Me(McCain), and Lizzy(dressed up) all went trick-or-treating. eric pushed me in the wheelchair all night. it was pretty fun. i had alot of comments and one mom even took my picture. it was a GREAT halloween!

Oh and not to mention since people loved my costume so much, They gave me even more candy!!! YAY!

So I think its loookin pretty good. On thursday they took off all the tape that was holding my skin together and then they took out the string that was in my knee as well. That part of it KILLED! but im glad that it is healing fine and that there is no infections. I start physical theropy on monday and im already starting to walk with out my crutches a little bit!

Its already been been 2 months since this has happened. it seems like FOREVER!!

but im gettin through it.

I start theropy next week so im looking forward to that... kinda.
